What is ASTRID?
The Address Street and Information Directory (ASTRID) pilot offers the creation of an online searchable UPRN, USRN and TOID data directory. In alignment with the Government Digital Service (GDS) mandate issued in July 2020, the directory will raise awareness and visibility of OS unique identifier attributed data within the public sector. It aims to support the overall ambition to create an accessible and searchable library for the public sector to easily source information on where to access location data and encourage public-sector data sharing, whilst helping to identify gaps in attribution or data across government.
